About Shaun Frankson Vancouver based Motivational Speaker

Shaun Frankson went from mediocre rocker to corporate executive in less than five years. All it took was a near death car accident to knock a sense of direction into him. Starting with only ‘played in a band’ on his resume, Shaun created a strategic five year game plan to bridge the experience gap standing in his way from a fulfilling career doing what he loves everyday. To date, Shaun is an active keynote speaker, the Vice President of Nero Global Tracking and the Co-founder of the Core Values Institue.

Shaun Frankson Speaking ar University

While attending Royal Roads University Shaun took every opportunity to create his own experience fast. He was appointed president of ACE-Royal Roads, and tasked to turn this newly formed Not-For-Profit organization into a nationally recognized program. In less than 7 months ACE-RRU had 7 executives and 60 volunteers operating in divisions focused on consulting, venture start up, educational speaking, community development, global development, and sustainability. Shaun led the organization to a 2 place finish in the SIFE Western Regional Entrepreneurial Topic competition in Calgary with one judge quoting “That was the best presentation I have ever seen.” It is unheard of for a start up chapter to even make it past the first round of a national competition. During the SIFE National Exposition in Toronto ACE-RRU tied for 5th out of 44 teams, receiving one of, if not, the highest score ever for a start up chapter. During 2007 Shaun was nominated for Canadian Student Leader of the year, awarded the best start up chapter in Canada and received the Eric C Douglas scholarship 'in recognition of having best presented the spirit of entrepreneurship with a philanthropic nature.'

All of this was accomplished while completed a condensed 11 month degree program.

Shaun Frankson Beer forBreakfast the ska band

W

After graduating from high school Shaun played in a ska band called Beer for Breakfast.

It was his experience as a musician that introduced him to the art of grass roots marketing and graphic design.

"Even today, I find myself using the experience of playing in a band to answer corporate level interview questions. This really goes to show you that transferable job skills are everywhere when you start to look for them."

In case you don't recognize him, Shaun is the one with the shaved head and tattoo's singing the songs.
